The Karen V. Libreros Foundation was created in loving memory of a beautiful angel.  Karen was an intelligent, strong, funny, and vibrant person.  She had a beautiful smile that warmed anyone’s heart.  Her strength was empowering and admirable.  Her beauty wasn’t just in her appearance, it also shined through her personality.  She was loved by so many friends and family. In 2010, Karen was diagnosed with leukemia and lost her battle against this terrible disease less than a year after being diagnosed, just a few months before her 21st birthday.  Although Karen is now with the angels above, she is truly missed each and every day.
